InactiveYes, while Absolute has removed the auto feed, True has added it.
If you search the site here for True Poker you will find all complaints.
When I started to make a little money with them, I suddenly had no way to get in to look at my stats. Took some two months to get access again – they kept saying they were working on it. Guess what? No players, all gone. The entire two months a blank. What links I had left are coming down this month.
And that is not just because I will not promote rooms that push rake-back schemes so their affiliates pay for the incentives instead of them themselves, after my experience I don’t trust them whatsoever.
I was talking with some of the larger poker rooms and they were of the opinion that small rooms who have trouble competing because of inferior software or just marketing problems etc. were the ones that are pushing rake-back. They also project this to be short lived – in their experience rake-back schemes result in a lot of player complaints because of affiliate fraud – some apparently promise the moon which then doesn’t materialize.
True’s plan looks a lot like a pyramid scheme to me. It will create a lot of hungry bottom feeders roaming poker rooms trying to steal players.
I think Absolute is on the right track, they are slowly withdrawing from the rake-back scene, although they have not yet outright forbidden it. They just stopped all support for it.
I guess True will learn the hard way. They are trying to find a niche because they cannot deal with the huge poker competition these days.
Absolute isn’t needy like that, they take good care of players and affiliates. I hope soon they will complete the move in the right direction and announce that they do not allow rake-back at all.

InactiveIt looks like a similar deal to what Pokerchamps does, and that hasn’t been that great for them. These small sites looking for the answer aren’t going to find it with rake back. Big players want to play where there are plenty of other players. As long as big sites like UB and Party skins have affiliates pushing it, why would anyone sign at a small site?

InactiveI stopped promoting them a long time ago. There was a period of time where I could not check my stats for over 3 months because their system was supposedly down. They are desperate for new players and they think rakeback is the solution. They are going to be disappointed with the results. The client at True Poker is very slow and player retention is low. I would avoid promoting them and would stick to the big boys, i.e. party, empire, ultimate bet, paradise.
