I agree. RSS is well worth doing. I have it on both my forums that I run ( One Casino, another politics related ). Quite easy to implement too
It is pretty simple to do in VB as well. They provide an external data tool that allows you to turn the site, or individual forums on the site into RSS feeds. I do it on two of my VB forums.
We are adding RSS to CAP and Aff Community this week. The only hold up has been a security issue where the private forums were also appearing in syndication when we tested it. My software guys have it fixed at Aff Community and are implementing changes here at CAP too.
