Mine would be the Link Popularity Check and also a link checker, which I don’t quite know what it is called as I have forgot.
Market Leap offers a good link popularity tool.

I am with Roo on the html validator, also use wordtracker for keyword selection and then a few custom built tools for scoping out and tracking the competition etc.
