it will not be a problem for bigger affiliates.

    What makes you say that?

It is a lot more profitable for casinos to defraud big affiliates than small ones.

Those conditions – no new player – no pay – are totally unacceptable and I would urge everyone to stay away from there.

It all started when Referback introduced the 1newplayer rule, which is a pretty good way to scar affiliates.
Not that, in general, is hard to get 1 new player, but if you get banned from the SEs for just one month, there is a potential to loose some BIG bucks, especially the webmasters who had promoted their casinos for years and have 500+ players…

But no commission at all?!? That’s pushing it.

There is a HUGE difference between increasing the % of revenue share when you get a new player that month and withholding all pay if you don’t.

Referback did this so people would actually continue to actively promote them, even if they have so many residual players that it makes sense to just let that flow and concentrate on other programs, building up that player base.

I can understand the business decision behind that, even if I don’t like it.

But withholding all pay – that is just plain theft.

I was talking to the City Club rep about this last week and told him flat out I wouldnt promote them strictly because of that Term and Condition. I think if they hear it often enough they might decide its costing them more money then it saves them.

Needless to say they won’t last long. I only have two words to describe that requirement, and I don’t think I need to say what those two words are.

I had been testing some placements, but they’re coming down until this policy changes.

    To Domenique,

I simply mean that big affiliates will get more than one players each month – at least that what I think :-)

Yes, but they may not be concentrating on a particular program in a particular month and not give it exposure because something else is performing better at the time.

This must be happening a lot to this program because the demand of sending at least one player or not get paid is a way to fix being ignored by people who already have a player base.

Also, temptation to shave is quite likely high in such a setting – it must be very tempting to remove a couple new players from an account that then yields nice money that doesn’t need to be paid. On that level, it is more profitable to hit the larger affiliate.

But – rgeardless of big or small – this is a bad policy and we should not tolerate it in any case.

When i was looking for Casino affiliate programs i did a look on them but i think if you are a small affiliate or just starting (me, at that time) that thing of a minimum payment of $500 is a way to scare new affiliates away since i had no traffic and was doing PPC.
In my opinion this market could set a standard minimum payment, if i have players today is because just one program was sending small amounts and i put it back on PPC and after a gain in the player base they can’t call me a small affiliate.

So, i have more bad news, another program is asking for something similar, they don’t pay you if:

” the affiliate’s available balance must exceed $50 United States Dollars and
the affiliate must have a minimum of 5 active customers “.

I got above that minimum but the problem is the active customers. So, my question is:

What happen if i send a whale and that player deposit over $ 30K?
I won`t get any comission because i have just one active customer, but if i send five players and they deposit $100 each i will get the commission. Weird.

The program is Bet365, to see that rules you need to login in your account and go to “payment”, ” request payment”.

If i am wrong or you got any experience with them reagarding this, please, post your experience here. I will send a email to them requesting my payment and will see… :phone:

Big or small affiliate, that player requirement is ridiculous.

And $500 minimum balance for payment is also ridiculous. They probably make nice money off new affiliates who are trying to make a go of it and then give up – leaving $400 behind in their account.

It is also selfdefeating with more productive affiliates since it deprives us of the advertising money we need.

Shame on you running a program like that!

That program is to be avoided at all cost – we should not support such lousy conditions under any circumstances.
