InactiveWhich version are you using? Whats your OS?
I have never had problems with mine.

InactiveVersion 5.9, windows XP.
I am not sure what the other person is using, but they have the problem of it turning itself on and off continuously a lot worse than me.
I am mostly frustrated about bringing it up in the morning after I had signed out in the evening. I can’t do it for the longest time, then it comes up in duplicate and informs me it has to shut down. And it can’t ever remember me.

InactiveI am using 5.5.3583 with XP … maybe that newer version has some bugs. Personally I havent had any issues with it – other than the ads, but I added a hack to remove those

InactiveI didn’t have trouble with the old version either – but some people say it’s very unstable.
Oh well, plenty of messengers out there to use.

InactiveSame thing happens here now that you mention it… I haven’t been tenacious enough to do anything about it…except shut it down.
Seems that ever since I installed the latest version it freezes and crashes my machine. I’m sure that there’s a solution but haven’t bothered as I don’t really use it much because of this.

InactiveHey Dominique: you need Trillian (http://www.trillian.cc) – brings AIM, ICQ and MSN under one roof and stable as hell. And its free.

InactiveDoes it still keep the people from the different messengers seperate?
Can you be visible/invisible to each seperately? I run a bunch of them because it helps me keep people seperated and categorized – so I may be available to managers but not peers or the other way around, or advertising contacts only etc. depending on what I am busy with at the time.
I am worried trillian would cut that out…

InactiveTrillian is busted… LOL… maybe the Pro version is okay, but the free one drops MSN connections every few minutes. It was my main messaging device until this month
