I have bingonightlive.net as well as a few other relating to the new show on iTV and am trying to work out what I can/should do to monitise them – Any ideas?
I’d see if you could get PartyBingo / ITV affiliated on another domain then run links to ITV bingo off it. Alternatively, do a load of copy on the ITV programme and say something along the lines of “ITV Bingo is on for an hour a night. These other TV bingo shows are on too!” and link out to Bingo Joy, Gala TV, Big Box Bingo, etc…
First of all before you take any actions – check if they have a trademark on Bingo Night Live.
If they do – then you have problems from a legal point of view and then your best bet is trying to get them to buy the domain from you. If you try making money from the domain their lawyers will eat you up.
If they don’t – the sky is the limit… you could SEO the hell out of that domain and get a nice chunk of the organic search engine traffic for it and direct traffic to the real site or put a list of other bingo sites.
I reckon that you could possibly pass their site on search engines as you have an exact match on the domain.
