If you’re targeting the UK market, you might and I stress might be able to pursuade Google to let you run the ads. Otherwise, you’re S.O.L. I managed to keep a couple of my ads running until half way through this month when Google finally caught up with them. Shame really, as I’d ended up paying next to nothing a click on some seriously good keywords.

The moral of this story is let sleeping dogs lie….

If you have a few Google adwords running the LAST thing you want to do is draw attention to your account by being greedy and trying to get more keywords.

My advice is if you have adwords still in play then STFU….

I still have a few keywords running in the UK as well, and I’m leaving well alone. However, my other accounts are slowly being caught up with so I expect the same will happen with all of them soon. :(

Mine were happily running along but got killed just yesterday. I didn’t touch them. They did find them though.

I was getting great slots traffic for about a week at only 30 or 40 cents a click. But they caught up with me too, eventually.

Just took a look around at a few keywords and the first few had no ads on the right on goofle.

Figured fair enough then some people in the results will not mind the lesser competition on each results page.

Checked a few more keywords and there are firms with non gambling content pulling up in the ads on the right for the word “casino” etc.

    lol

I imagine the more creative webmasters will think of something to utilise such nonsense.

    Thanks all for your input.

Google caught up to us yesterday finally; all our ads are now down. It was good while it lasted though.
