InactiveI started out with 300 baud modems!
You haven’t seen slow until you experienced that! When we finally got to 1200 Baud – wow!
Iglobal casinos are compatible with all platforms and do well with aol. Just use the no download.

Inactivehahaha I global they scare me though LOL
I used casinotraffic for a long time but they just cannot convert anymore …. I used to make a few g a month now nothing …
they were buddies with the I global group I think through the adult industry …. That is where I first came upon iglobal about 5 or 6 years ago …. I will see if I can dig up some of my old accounts and try them on the pages …. a good variety always looks best and this aol traffic is just to slow …. All the guys I talk to that own casinos tell me that the google/aol traffic is hard to convert because of this.March 8, 2004 at 11:22 pm #645978Anonymous
Inactive300 baud hahaha take me back to the days of commodore
in anchient history man connected computers via simple telephone wire LOL I think we are dating ourselves way back with this thread haha I did not have a modem back then I never got into bulletin boards but a bunch of my friends did.

InactiveYour welcome about the info.
Most these casinos think Americans are all on fast connections. Which is not the case. Many wont pay for fast internet. AOL users is more than 27 million households. I have really never known of any dial up user to get 56k. Here we were lucky to get over 28.8..
and never over 36.. South Africans say they have slow connections. Those guys do get 56k, so if they think that is slow they should try dial up here.
Many casino groups are sending out CD’s. One was Vegas Partners cross marketing to there casinos through one disc. No I do not believe they gave us credit if our players signed up at the other casinos.
Most casinos are putting links for people to order cd’s, I guess the question to find out is how many of these guys are giving affiliates credit. Which by all rights we should get, if we are sending them the traffic.

InactiveYep,
we should get credit and lots of them have cross promoted with those cd’s That was a big mgc casino thing a while back especially …
I think some of us forget how slow the dial up is … I am always on somewhere and most of my friends have wireless networks in there homes as well as broad band of some sort. But it is because I live near a University and in the suburbs of a nice sized city … So most people have broad band …
I really do think that aol pages set on java script that detects aol users would probably really help with converions on aol and dial up traffic ….

InactiveI have a bunch of casino CDs here that I got in the mail.
I very much agree, Krystall. They are stealing from us that way.
Some strange bedfellows too that start making sense slowly…
I used casinotraffic for a long time but they just cannot convert anymore …. I used to make a few g a month now nothing …
You stole my story, badabing! I did well with them for a while – then nothing. Absolutely nothing. Haven’t sent them anything in over a year now.
I am on dialup – I live so secluded that there is no cable or even satellite. No broadband for me! At this moment I am on 26.4 KBPS.
That is about normal for me.
I live with it by multitasking a lot. But I am considering moving – and this is one of the reasons.

InactiveYah,
I live close to the city for that reason alone. It is by far much cheaper living out in the country in property tax alone. As well as property is cheaper, but I could not do it on a phone modem. I have way to many things I manage for people and myself at this point LOL I would go nuts
The slow modems drive me crazy when I go on the road. I like cities if I gotta work … but the hunting cabin we go further up north to has no phone actually none of the hunting cabins we ever use have phones ….
