WTF? I thought spamming is punishable by forty lashes from google, or, at the very least, a position readjustment………:baaa:
They might be spamming the meta keywords etc, but google is smart if enough to filter and ignore that type of spam.
gambling.com is number because its got 800 relevant incoming links on the domain “gambling.com” not because of some meta keyword spam, or even HTML comment spam.
I didn’t look to hard for hidden text etc. All you have to do is see the number of quality incoming links to that domain to know they deserve that spot.

I’ve got other sites ranked well in other genres.
The main thing I’ve noticed for ranking well post-florida/google is making sure you have a many links from different related websites.
i.e. gamblig websites to gambling websites.Theres alot more to it obviously, such as not over doing the links from individual sites (i.e. mass crosslinking of your own websites).
I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but you have to admire gambling.com’s incoming link list.. most sites with 800 links incoming would have 100’s of those from individual sites, but gambling .com must have single links from at least 500 different domains (an on pr4+ pages).. thats some nice link popularity!!

And I do agree with you on the link popularity bit, just found it odd that you only had the one post and nothing in your profile, you can’t blame me for asking!

I’ve been lurking for a while.I’m still a gambling website promotions newbie but have some good success at getting reasonable rankings in some very competitive terms. So I thought I would just add my 2 cents to something I have a little knowledge about.
I know Mt Barker well, my sisters husband and his family are from there. If you’ve been there a while you probably know them since the own one of the shops there. I won’t drop their names tho
My plans are one day to make a living off all my various websites then move down South somewhere.. maybe Denmark/Walpole. Tho ideally, Broome in Winter, Walpole in Summer.. ahhh dreams

Been in Mt Barker 15 years, with a pop of 2600 and just over a dozen shops in the main street, pretty sure I know them, shoot me a PM if you like.
