Thank you for the post, and for offering webmasters an alternative to the seemingly controversy plagued GPWA.

Hoping that your new affiliation will provide a forum for casino related offerings to express views, exchange ideas, and work towards preserving the integrity of online gaming.

This industry has dealt with both past and present issues that severley affect both the rights of people to entertain themselves as they see fit, and the rights of persons and others who offer these services.

Hoping that the APCW trys to address the current problems in this industry and strives towards a sustainable outcome without the political wing-dings that are counter productive to all concerned.

    Regards,

    Kevin 11

I don’t see the APCW as a competition to GPWA. It has very structured objectives and they are not the same as GPWA.

I don’t see why this forum here could not serve as a meeting place for APCW members, it has a private section as well if needed. This, however, is up to the professor and todd to hammer out.

It just seems logical to me.

I think we have needed something like the APCW for a long time and hope it will succeed.

Good to see you and welcome aboard. I think its an excellent idea. You are welcome to use our message boards here as a temporary or permanent forum. Next week the new software will be in place and I can set you up with your own forum area (private or public) if you wish.

Best of luck with your new venture.

Thanks, Lou, I appreciate the offer.

As I said, I did not originally want a forum just because of all the political BS that can go on. However, with all the questions I’ve received at B2G I am thinking a forum may be needed in the future.

The response to the APCW has not been overwhelming, but I expected that it would be slow to start. People need to see results before they place their faith in a product or service.

I am considering setting up a “back-door” link to the site with a “trial” period for free…

    Hey Cappie!

    Nice to see you too….

And THANK YOU PROFESSOR for your kind invitation to allow the APCW a private forum here… I will contact you via email this week to see what we can do =0)

ALSO, I would like to extend a personal invitation to anyone who uses this forum… and their friends who are in this business.

Use this link to get 60 days free to APCW:

    http://apcw.org/webmasters-backdoor.htm

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP AND PAID YOUR DUES… please email me at [email protected] and I will make certain I credit your account for the same 60 day period!

I wish to stress that I am extending this invitation for two reasons:

    1) With all the happeneings at GPWA and in the “political” arena, I feel the timing is excellent to move forward with an organization that could have some teeth… and…

    2) The casinos I have committed to APCW need to see a lot of webmasters join up… they will only take part in this if they see we will all pull together. Ther more of us there are participating in the auditing and reporting, the better off we’ll be.

Good luck in your new venture and as many are ware I handle the asffiliate relations for a dozen or so casino and sportsbook clients.

What are the main benefits of paying $100 a month for sponsorship of the site and what are the ojectives?

    Simon,

The $100 a month for a CASINO member helps with the site costs. Partly, I am planning for the future here and aniticipating several hundred webmasters eventually. With my current casino members I will be conducting 12 to 20 audits per quarter. And if I have just 100 webmasters submitting information on 5 programs each, that’s a lot of time spent to compile information… then I still need to calculate it, compile it, and email it.

However, I feel the real benefit for a CASINO to join the APCW is the Public/Webmaster Relations angle for their affiliate program. How many times have you heard a webmaster say that “…program X is cheating…” or “…program Y is shaving….” ? Casino members of the APCW not only show a willingness to be randomly audited, but they will now have documentation to show.

The dues paid go toward many, many things… as stated on the site. But think about this: Recently, the GPWA tried to collect funds to help the Pro-Freedom movement buy advertising. Several pledges were made, votes taken, and in the end nothing ever happened. I fault no one at GPWA, but view this as a simple case of an organization not being set-up for the purpose they were trying to achieve.

If the APCW had been around a year before and, let’s say, had a $2,000 reserve to devote to thie cause. I, as the administrator, would have come up with a plan, THEN informed the membership, THEN gone to the casinos and said: “This is our plan. This is our cash. Will you match us?” I’ll just bet that if you approached the casinos in THAT manner, one could have raised several thousands of dollars and made some sort of impact. At worst, it would have been a really good try.

The programs I have listed on the main page seem to believe in the benefit of this program. I have many more interested, and hope to be adding new casinos to the list shortly =0)

    Hi Cappy,

You just can’t get rid of me.  one of the last posts I made at the other spot was how that I felt that the successful webmasters were opinions I valued more than I felt the posts of the inexperienced were worth.

And therefore, you can bet I’m thrilled to see all of you here.

    :clapper: :allears: :bouncer:

sounds good Integrity; how much does it cost for webmasters ….

… and then what is the special price for charming (not too mention good-looking) webmasters like me? (Did I leave out modest?)

*the two month deal in an excellent idea for the reasons mentioned and also it will give those with doubts about the costs; a chance to try it out and see if it’s worth the money.

    Cheers everyone!
