The Latest "Wake Up Call": Why Politics Matters to the Online Gaming Industry
Still think that politics doesn't affect your business? If you're an online poker affiliate, you should be alarmed at how the U.S. government is treating poker players. Freezing over $30 million in poker winnings is no way to inspire confidence in our industry. The problem will soon be resolved, but still, aren't we sick of getting pushed around by politicians who like to interfere with personal freedoms? Barney Frank's anti-UIGEA bill may not be the perfect solution, but it's better than constantly getting harassed with this kind of nonsense.

The bottom line? If we want to have confidence in our careers as gaming affiliates, we need to get these moralizing politicians off our backs once and for all. Read more about the online poker "Wake Up Call" here.
