Online Gambling Less Addictive, Says Harvard Study A new study issued by the Harvard Medical School has found that gambling on the Internet is actually significantly less addictive than gambling in land-based venues. As reported in The Harvard Crimson, the official newspaper for the Ivy league school, a two-year study of almost 3,500 gamers playing online at bwin found that Internet gamblers were "more likely to self-regulate their betting behavior based on their pattern of wins and losses". This could be a great tool to help Barney Frank and other U.S. politicians seeking to overturn the UIGEA.
