Analysis of Kentucky Decision

Analysis of Kentucky Decision
After months of endless controversy and industry speculation, we finally saw some action in the Kentucky domain name hijacking last week. Of course, things probably won't end here. The governor will most likely appeal the decision. What's worse, though, is that the ruling doesn't state that domains can't be seized; it stated that the domains weren't really gambling devices, as Kentucky officials had claimed. So, the door is open for appeals and reinterpretations. A win is a win, but unfortunately, this thing might not be over just yet. Read more about this topic here.
