Scraping

Scraping is a black-hat technique used by rogue affiliates to literally steal the content off another website to display on theirs. Scraping is literally copyright theft, and is one of the worst problems successful affiliate marketers have to deal with. The issue becomes further complicated because Google gives greater preference to sites that feature original content. If that content is scraped and placed on another site, Google may index the other site before yours. This means that you can lose Page Rank and your ranking in the SERP's may fall.
