A rake is what the casino takes during games of equal-weighted chance, such as Poker. In the game of Poker, the players are betting against one another, which means that the house does not have an advantage. In this instance, the house takes a cut of each pot that is played, and in those instances an affiliate that is paid through a RevShare model receives a portion of that rake.
