Big Bucks Buy-in
NBC's "Poker After Dark" cash game is not for sissies
October 14, 2008 (InfoPowa News) -- The current weekly edition of NBC's late-night poker thriller series "Poker After Dark" is being changed to a cash-game format that separates the men from the boys with a $100,000 buy-in big enough to make the toes curl for the $200/400 NLHE epic.
The composition of the six-player table is a star-studded marquee of note: Gabe Kaplan, Eli Elezra, Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Doyle Brunson, and Texas businessman and amateur player Dee Tiller.
NBC scheduling has the five weeknight episodes airing late Monday through Friday at 2:05 am ET/PT, with special Saturday-night episodes screening immediately after the "Saturday Night Live" program at 1:00 am early Sunday morning.
