We’ve said before and we’ll say it again, no one likes having the rules changed on them halfway through the game, but that’s exactly what Bwin did to its affiliate partners. After promising lifetime revenues on players, Bwin did an abrupt about face.

Not only did they pull the rug out on lifetime revenues, they sliced those revenues down to a measly five percent. Obviously that didn’t sit well with affiliates who had spent years sending Bwin players.

Affiliates were also insulted by the way that Bwin cloaked the new T&C as an improvement and means of getting faster payments.

It turns out that, more often than not, affiliate partners like higher payouts and lifetime revenue over lower payouts for a limited time. Go figure.
