Surviving the Black Friday fallout wasn’t really easy for any poker affiliate but Rake the Rake was able to do by maintaining a diverse affiliate portfolio. That commitment to the fundamentals has always been at the core of RaketheRake.com CEO Karim Wilkins’ strategy for keeping his site relevant to the online poker community.

In a recent interview with CalvinAyre.com, Wilkins described his formula for success saying:

We always worked hard and looked after our members from the point of view or promotions and customer service. We have focused and made sure that we did not take our eye off the ball. We are predominantly a rakeback affiliate. It’s what we do best and why we are still the biggest rakeback affiliate in the world. We haven’t tried to complicate that and confuse our members by offering multiple products.

It’s a successful strategy that’s kept his site in the game, even as the competition around him struggles and crumbles.
