There’s a lot going on on the WordPress themes market. There are new products being released virtually every week. We’re taking a look at what all this activity means for online gambling affiliates who want to make sure that their sites stay modern and optimized.

A while ago, Flytonic – one of our favorite WordPress theme provider for affiliate sites – released a theme optimized for Forex sites, their custom WordPress Forex template.

The theme was created based on their financial trading theme and is geared at maximizing the user experience on different types of devices. It’s fully responsive and offers several custom widgets, shortcodes, and other customization possibilities.

The price tag on the theme is $99. The license allows you to use it on multiple domains, and you also get unlimited updates and customer support.

WP Gambling

WP Gambling is a free theme directory catering directly to online gambling sites and affiliates.

Their two newest themes are:

1. WPG146 – Gambling WordPress Theme

The theme supports custom menus, social bookmarking, nested comments, has backward compatibility with older versions of WordPress, cross browser compatibility, and is released under the CC license

2. WPG108 – Online Casino WordPress Theme

This theme is specifically targeted for online casino sites. It’s widget ready, has built-in animations, valid HTML code, uses a 2-column layout, is compatible with all major browsers, and comes under the CC license as well.

Other Directories

If none of the above seems interesting to you then you can always visit other, more general directories in search for some gambling WordPress themes.

Let’s start with Theme Forest and the PokeRoost theme.

It’s a theme optimized for poker sites and poker magazine sites. It’s a retina-ready and responsive theme offering a lot of advanced features.

The layout itself is fluid, which means that it doesn’t occupy just a small area in the middle of the browser’s window. Instead, it utilizes all available spaces.

There’s a built-in page builder with drag-and-drop functionality. This means that you don’t have to be a source code expert to build custom pages and posts.

The price tag is $45 and it allows you to use the theme on a single site.

The second theme comes from Elite Themes and it’s called Pro Gambling.

It’s a magazine theme with some slider functionality and a widget-ready structure. It supports one- or two-sidebar layout and is optimized for casino sites and magazines.

The final theme on this list is also a creation of Elite Themes. It’s called Poker Bonus Point.

Like the name suggests, the theme is optimized for sites revolving around the topic of bonuses, coupons and promotions.

It has a standard blog layout with two sidebars on either side and a number of widget-ready areas. The design is clean and functional. Nothing flashy or too distracting for the visitor.

This concludes our list, but you are free to do your own sniffing around to find more gambling-friendly themes. Various theme stores offer a great number of themes that can be successfully used for gambling sites, even though the word gambling appears nowhere in the theme descriptions.
