Google is Your Only Option

There’s no arguing the fact that Google controls a huge chunk of the search engine market, but they’re not the only game in town. Bing, Yahoo! and a host of localized search engines may not offer the one-stop shopping Google does but, combined, they account for about 35% of the search engine market.

Newcomers like DuckDuckGo are competing with Google by not tracking user search data. This nifty feature creates a level SEO playing field that allows small sites to rank high in keywords that are out of reach on Google.

So don’t put all your SEO eggs in Google’s basket.
