No, that’s not a misprint, there really was some political progress for the American facing igaming business in 2014. The challenge with finding that progress is wading through the bad news to find it.
Sure, Ultimate Gaming is shutting down its Nevada online poker operations. And, yes, those New Jersey and Delaware online gambling revenues aren’t exactly impress.
At the same time, the mere fact that these numbers even exist at all represents genuine progress in the good old U-S-of-A.
Even better, a recent New York Times editorial by the NBA Commissioner Adam Silver advocating the legalization of sports betting suggests the wall may be ready to crumble.
