April 7, 2009 (CAP Newswire) — As the kick-off date for the highly anticipated fourth annual European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP IV) draws near — it’s now about six weeks away — online poker rooms are going out of their way to offer players the chance to get in on the action for a reduced buy-in.

Last week, Titan Poker and Bet365 announced special qualifier promotions; today, MansionPoker has announced its own satellite tournament, offering players the chance to sit at the ECOOP table for as little as a one-dollar entry stake.

"Direct buy-ins for the ECOOP Championships range from $100 + $9 to $1,500 + $80 for the grand finale,” states MansionPoker.com in a news release, “but MansionPoker members get the chance to qualify for these big money tournaments by playing in ECOOP satellites from as little $1.00 + $0.10.”

The news statement also reminds us that MansionPoker.com has an impressive track record of sending winners to ECOOP: more than 70 winners were sent from last year’s tournament, “several of them winning money prizes in excess of $50,000”, the company claims.

Featuring variations on poker’s most popular games — No Limit Hold-em, 7 Card Stud and Omaha — the ECOOP Championship tournaments start on Monday, 25 May, and concludes on Sunday, 7 June with a huge $1,500,000 Main Event.
