RedKings Cracks a Malta License

March 4, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — Redkings Poker has announced its successful acquisition of a Malta gambling license. The licenze gives Redkings additional accreditation to its Gibraltar license through the Ongame network on which it operates.

Licenses from the Mediterranean Internet gambling centers and jurisdictions have become increasingly popular due to the white-listing for U.K. advertising which both Malta and Gibraltar enjoy.

Announcing the new license, a Redkings spokesman said: "In just two years RedKings has achieved meteoric growth, and with this new White Label poker License, we anticipate a huge surge of business, especially from the Scandinavian countries and the U.K. We are proud to have achieved the exacting standards that are required for a license of this kind."

Under the Gibraltar license, RedKings Poker players enjoy a useful break on tax-free poker winnings from many European countries. Current Gibraltar tax law does not require its online gaming licensees to impose taxes on customer winnings.
