Will Online Gambling Become Legal in 2012? And Other Predictions

Atlantic City and Las Vegas to Lose Popularity

This is what Las Vegas Strip will look like when it’s completely destroyed.

This prediction is based on the fact that the several US states have been legalizing casino gambling as a form of collecting revenue (probably as a result of the current economic climate). US states are free to regulate gambling as they please because gambling is legal under Federal Law (note: gambling, not online gambling).

As more US states allow the creation of local casinos and gambling venues, players will have less of an incentive to travel to already existing gambling destinations like Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Those places will either have to accommodate to the loss in revenue or find more creative ways to attract customers.
