Online casino FullTiltPoker.com has announced that it will hold the seventh instalment of its Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) beginning on February 6.

Held three times a year, FTOPS events have become one of the top tournament series for online players, generating large and competitive entry fields and substantial guaranteed prize pools.

The Alderney licensed site stated that FTOPS VII would run for twelve days and include 20 events, two being new to the competition. The first of these will be the second event held in the Series, a pot limit Omaha knockout event featuring a buy-in of $240 with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000.

The second new event is to be the 13th event in the competition, a heads-up event that will see alternating rounds of pot-limit hold ‘em and pot-limit Omaha with a $200 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000.

FullTiltPooker.com stated that players would be competing for a share of a guaranteed ten million dollar prize pool with the Main Event offering a guaranteed prize pool of two million dollars.

Two FTOPS VII events are to be held each Thursday along with one event each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The series is set to close with the Main Event, which is scheduled for February 17.
