March 3, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — A new Canadian-based online fantasy sports site, Fantrax.com, has successfully completed a five-month Beta testing phase and is now in full operation, managing director Richard Blais announced this week.
The Fantrax flagship Commissioner League product was a finalist for the Fantasy Sports Trade Association's Best Fantasy Commissioner Product of 2008. It is currently available for baseball, football, basketball, hockey and auto racing, with others — European professional soccer, golf, and cricket — coming soon.
While its focus is fantasy games, Fantrax is a full-fledged sports information site, with real-time event results, player statistics, news, previews and schedules. All its offerings are free of charge.
