Montreal Charity Event to Play Host to Two of Poker's Ultimate Pros

Montreal, Quebec Wednesday October 21st, 2009 – It seems that the biggest poker charity tournament to ever hit Canada just got bigger, as gracing the already historical Windsor Station on November 14th will be legendary Poker celebrities Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.

With a record breaking eleven wins at the World Series of Poker, Phil Hellmuth, the self proclaimed Texas Hold’em revolutionary, is considered to be one of most consistent poker talents in the game today. Infamously known as the “Poker Brat” for his controversial table antics throughout the Poker World, Hellmuth will be looking to be exactly that as he plans to ruffle a few feathers in his quest for yet another poker accolade.

Annie Duke, currently the #1 ranked female poker player in the world, has been described as one of the poker world’s best players who have leveled the playing field for women. Duke also recently enjoyed much success and acclaim away from poker as she finished runner up on Donald Trump’s television show “Celebrity Apprentice”.

As the headliners for the November 14th event, this famous poker duo will also take part in a Q&A session with V.I.P. players, offering their own advice and tips in a unique approach to a “poker boot camp”, and if that isn’t enough, both Hellmuth and Duke will also be participating in the tournament, making it truly the ultimate poker challenge.
