2. Contact

This page has a very similar purpose to the About page. When you give your readers a way of reaching you, you immediately seem like a real person or business. Not like someone sitting in a shed and trying to scam people.
If you’re comfortable with this, you can even provide your business’s physical address and phone number. A simple contact form is the bare minimum.

Stopped reading at “about page is the most popular on your website”…
That’s too bad! There were 6 more pages of great content! We think About Us pages are important for credibility. You have one
Ok so that’s like 3 reasons (the top 3) that affect conversions and 4 reasons that don’t to stuff the list out to 7 reasons? “Oh I’m just about to sign up with Gamble City but… hold on! hmm what is this affiliate’s privacy policy?” is something no one said to themselves ever.
I’ve got to disagree with you on that one. A Privacy Policy lets the users know what you’re actually going to do with the information they provide you. In the US, it’s required if you plan on ever contacting anyone via email. So, Privacy Policies are pretty important landing pages to have.
I think those pages are important, but the newsletter listed this article with the following title:
“Your Site Doesn’t Convert? 7 Core Pages Every Affiliate Needs”
Which to me means that the 7 core pages are related to conversion. While important, the privacy, about, etc. pages don’t have much to do with conversion.
Thanks for the feedback.
