Ladbrokes Signs Up “Zupp”
December 4, 2008 — Ladbrokes is proud to announce that Peter "Zupp" Jepsen has signed a sponsorship contract to represent Ladbrokes Poker. The agreement, which was announced in Copenhagen yesterday, will officially commence on January 1st 2009 and will run for an initial one-year period. Peter Jepsen will represent Ladbrokes at many offline events including EPT and WPT tournaments as well as all of Ladbrokes offline events
Peter has a perfect profile for Ladbrokes, a young, ambitious, motivated, and tough competitor who thrives in both high-stakes cash games and MTTs. Jepsen is good friends with Ladbrokes Poker pro Jonas "Nebuchad" Danielsson. Ladbrokes sees the two players strengthening and complementing the profile of Ladbrokes Poker. Peter will also have his own online promotions including MTTs and Heads Up tournaments at Ladbrokes, where all players have the chance to challenge him.
Edward Ihre, Ladbrokes Poker Managing Director, said: "Peter Jepsen was our main target to become our new Danish sponsored player and we are very pleased to have secured his signature.
