iGaming Business Unveils Industry's Most Influential Leaders

12 November 2008 (London, UK) — iGaming Business magazine, the gaming industry's leading trade publication, will unveil the results of its iGB ACES poll to determine the 40 most influential figures in the industry today.

The November/December issue of the magazine will feature a list of the top 40 individuals in gaming as voted by the industry. As part of the process of nomination, iGaming Business sought the views and opinions of a cross-section of the industry to determine those people who deserve recognition for their efforts in developing the sector.

iGaming Business Publisher, Alex Pratt, explained, "iGB ACES honours those who have made positive steps in the evolution of the industry, and we believe 2008’s cast list to be an accurate reflection of that.

"The 40 people named in the coming issue of iGaming Business represent what the industry believes to be the spearhead of our sector, and our congratulations go out to all those who made the list."

Among those expected to make the list were some new and interesting additions, particularly U.S. Congressmen Barney Frank and Jim McDermott, nominated for their efforts to regulate and tax online gaming in the U.S.

"There are some new additions to the list and I think that reflects how our industry has changed in recent times. Ours is an industry boasting many significant milestones, not all of them positive, and the iGB ACES will be at the forefront of setting new benchmarks to drive our sector forward."

The November/December issue of iGaming Business magazine is out now.
