November 6, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — Full Tilt traffic has recently soared to new heights, probably due to the start of the tenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, which this time around is offering $15 million in guaranteed prize pools.
According to independent poker-tracking statistics, the average number of players per a 24-hour period reached the 9,704 mark this week — the highest in 2008.
There are 25 events over 12 days in the current FTOPS starting this week, which looks set to be the biggest yet with high-profile celebrity hosts for different events, at least six of which offer $1 million in prize money. $2.5 million guaranteed has been reserved for the Main Event, a potent incentive to boost entry registrations despite a doubling in the buy-in to $5,200.
