CryptoLogic, a leading software developer for the online gaming industry, has announced that it has acquired the sole rights to create the world’s first online casino games based on Marvel Super Heroes, Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four.
The deal will see the gaming group, through its subsidiary WagerLogic, become the exclusive developer of Internet casino games based on the Marvel characters until 2010.
‘Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four have grown from the comics to a massive worldwide fan base, and now it's fitting that they make their debut at the world's top Internet casinos – powered by CryptoLogic software’, said Javaid Aziz, CryptoLogic's President and CEO.
Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four, set for release in December 2007, will join CryptoLogic's existing range of Marvel-branded slot games that include the Hulk and Captain America.
