Casino Coins closes indefinitely, Betsafe affiliates moved to Betsson

More unwelcome changes are rocking the online casino affiliate world. Just days after BetUS announced it was ending its affiliate program, another major casino has shut down altogether.

After a preliminary move to turn away new players starting back in May, Casino Coins has announced today that it’s completely closed its doors.

The company’s management contacted CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com directly with the bad news.

The company’s final affiliate payment will be issued for July 2011, as Warren reported at the CAP Forum. It appears that the Casino Coins brand will shut down for good at the end of this month, although affiliates have been assured that they’ll get paid 100% of their earnings up until July 31st, 2011. Payments are expected in August.

In related news, Betsson has announced that it’s taking over all affiliate matters for Betsafe.

“As you may be aware, on 13 May 2011, the shareholders of Betsafe.com signed an agreement to transfer all their shares in Betsafe to Betsson AB (publ),” Affiliate Director Erik Hedberg explained to affiliates this week.

“The transaction was completed on 15 June 2011. As a consequence of the transaction, your contracting party under the affiliate agreement between You and BS Management N.V. (Betsafe) has been changed to Betsson Services Ltd, Maltese reg. no. C44114.

“The terms and conditions of the affiliate agreement remain unchanged, but all rights and obligations under the agreement have been transferred from BS Management N.V. to Betsson ServicesLtd.”

No changes are expected in the day-to-day workings and/or business for Betsafe affiliates.
