CAP V.I.P. Lounge a Huge Success at London Affiliate Conference

February 12, 2010 (CAP PR Wire) — CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com, a leading affiliate marketing resource for the online casino and Internet poker industry, has announced success in its first ever “CAP V.I.P. Lounge”, the centerpiece of the recently concluded London Affiliate Conference (LAC).

“We worked hard to make sure the CAP V.I.P. Lounge offered not just a place for affiliates and other industry figures to talk shop and network, but also to relax and grab a drink and a snack in an exclusive setting,” stated Warren Jolly, CAP’s CEO. “Considering the incredible turnout and the very enthusiastic responses we got from attendees, we’re very happy to report success and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who showed up.”

That enthusiastic response included praise for the CAP VIP Lounge as one of the event’s best designed and most entertaining booths — no small accomplishment given the London Affiliate Conference’s reputation for world class networking and high-profile parties.

Offering entertainment, socializing, and serving up an estimated one thousand cocktails amid the LAC’s high stakes hustle and bustle, the show-stealer at CAP’s V.I.P. Lounge was an F1 simulator designed to give visitors an idea of the forward momentum in which CAP is currently engaged. This momentum involves a number of ambitious improvements to its signature site — including complete overhauls of its News section and a new CAP Community Certification feature. Some 200 people took a ride on the simulator, with another 500 or so simply stopping by to check out the action.

The CAP V.I.P. Lounge was open to all registered members of the CAP community and aimed to include any interested affiliate. However, those responding to a special communication from the company’s Facebook page were involved in a more exclusive prize package in which CAP gave away more than a dozen flip cams and a “VIP Prize Package” that included a PS3 Slim Edition complete with an ensemble of accessories and games. Affiliate marketer “Florian” from Pokerboni.com was the lucky winner.

Additionally, the CAP team was on hand at the VIP Lounge to talk directly to the affiliate community about the future of the site and the industry in general, as well as to get feedback about the new CAP Community Certification. The company is reporting a positive response, with affiliates eager for the opportunity to express their opinions and operators excited to have the chance to be recognized for their hard work.

Affiliates and affiliate managers alike enjoyed the CAP V.I.P. Lounge. The affiliate manager from Doyle’s Room, Marcela, said “CAP’s VIP Lounge looked great! Red carpet, race car, giving away cool cameras … and CAP’s staff always with a smile on their face. Doyle and I spent some time there talking to very nice people. Good job guys!” Marcela’s comment was a bit lengthier than affiliate Paul’s who only had the following to say when asked for his thoughts, “CAP VIP Lounge … enough said!”

Greg Kroleski of CAP, who played a major role in the organization of the CAP V.I.P. Lounge, said, “I’m really excited to see how this all came together. Just one thing worries me … how are we going to top this booth at the iGaming Super Show?”
