    Hello all,

I have been looking for an online poker site that will host private freeroll tournaments for me but I am having no luck. The only one I have really seen that mentioned it was poker.com but I did not get a response back from them when I inquired about it. I have also emailed a few other sites I am affiliated with and have had no response. I was hoping you guys could let me know what sites that you know of that are willing to do this. I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks.

It all depends wheather you will pay for the cost of the freeroll or you want the poker room to fund it, there’s a lot of poker rooms that will let you have private freerolls providing you can send some new depositing players by the end of the freeroll and if you can most will be happy to fund the freerolls in the future. TridentPoker and any pokerroom connected to the prima network, if you are willing to fund them yourself then you can setup a freeroll directly from any prima poker software such has trident. Ive also had freerolls setup at cdpoker, titan and a few others, all you usually do for these is speak to the affiliate program and then fill in a tournament request form.

First let me say, I work with Media Hut (no1pokerroom), and so far, theyre great!

    onto private freerolls..

Titan, they wont accept every1, Some ppl they tell no, some they sign.. I dunno what makes the difference.

    Absolute, easy to get ..

The best way to get private freerolls, is to email each and every aff manager you have, tell them what you want.. how many players you can provide.. What date and time you want the tourney, and what password you would like to use.. Give them your url. It never hurts to ask, my momma swore to me the word no alone wouldnt kill me.. so far so good ;)

Pokerworld does 1 per forum as well .. btw..

Well, I see your problem. You’ve got a forum without any members and no postings. Not hard to see why your not getting any responses to your queries. I’m not trying to be a wise guy so ,don’t get offended.

Tell you what! If you have a banner I’ll put it up on my two sites to see if we can attract some players for you. You’ll really have to wait untill you can show that you may have enough players for them to consider it.

your going to need real live actual players, very good point there, belive it or not.. the freerolls wont bring the players, rather the other way around.. i use the freerolls as a tool to get the players to dl and sign under me with the casinos.. and a way to keep their interest in my site..

I do have a few thoughts for you..

If you are doing some things to get ppl TO your site, you then need to get them over to that forum, to become a part of your community.. One thing you need is forum posts.. Ill go post there in just a sec as a matter of fact.. There is also http://www.postonmyforum.com I work for them.. You give them some cash, and they send some of us over to your forum to get ya some activity going.. thats one option

Theres also a google group going here.. they all post on each others forums each week in trade for posts from each other… I belive there is a waiting list for that, but I have heard a few ppl mention starting another group like it, that can handle more posters at one time..

Poker players love to tell stories.. they love to tell about when they won.. won they lost.. and everything in the middle :P (didya see that bad beat story at the WSOP for a buck? HAHAHAH that was funnah stuff .. and pay they did :P LOL)

Whenever I hear a good poker story.. I tell ’em OMG that is a great story you have GOT TO post that on my forum! ;)

Post yourself.. sign up under a few usernames if need be..

I know all of that sounds silly, and to be honest, I havent as of yet done any of it myself.. but I do know that it works, I’ve seen it on many sites :)

Content is big as well.. and I havent looked at your site yet.. so that is all I have to say about that :) going to go say hello on your forum right now though :)

I really appreciate the words of advice. I guess I was thinking backwards. I was thinking of using the freerolls to attract return visitors, but I see what you guys are saying. It seems to be kind of a catch 22..hehe Thanks again.

You are welcome to advertize my freerolls as your own freerolls for a few weeks to get yourself going.. I actually made this offer to a few other folks today.. I don’t see anyway it can hurt me.. So I dont mind sharing…

I already typed this once today.. so I’m going to paste.. typos n all :P

I have weekly tournaments with Titan alreardy, I also have private tournaments with several other poker sites.. If it would help you all, you are welcome to advertise my tournaments as your own.. (having your members download through your affiliate link then enter to play as if the tourney were your own)

I suppose if it gets mentioned during the game that it is “my tourney” you could tell your group members that I am a moderator or something..

Or maybe someone has a better idea than this for intermingling the games..

My groups also have money added buy in games fairly often to increase depositing. I do ask that if you advertise the “Ladies of Holdem” games.. You are very clear that they are for ladies only and there is a severe penalty for any men playing these games (including the possible loss of their account)

Please don’t post ladies only passwords on your sites! Email them to ladies that have requested them!

    All of that said..

http://www.muckhappens.com is where you will find a weekly Titan freeroll (usually about 100 entrants)
http://www.ladiesofholdem.com also has its own weekly Titan freeroll, and is currently having a No1PokerRoom freeroll with a prize pot of $200

The Muck Happens FreeRoll for the next few weeks will be listed as OHP on Titan (After that it will be muckhappens.com but by then your members should have downloaded and be in your downline.. Or you can discontinue at that time)

The Ladies of Holdem games are listed as LOH (and will be staying this way) on Titan and the one @ No 1 Poker Room is listed as
    L O HOLDEM

Oh I’m sure you realize, its okay to take my tournies, but DO NOT COPY the announcement page! This will give us both duplicate content!

Hope this helps some of you get going :)

If you are using my freerolls.. shoot me an email for each one that you plan to advertise, so if this ever gets out of hand.. I know who to contact to cancel them :)

Aside from that, within these guidelines, any new forum owner is welcome to join in these games.. and get something going on their sites :)

This way, you dont start out having private games, with empty tables, that just wouldnt look good for ya ;)

You may also want to have a place for your participating members to post.. that way.. you are getting forum action from the tourneys, and will have some idea how many of the players are actually yours .. so you will know when to go ahead and branch out on your own :)

    Cathy
