What is everyone’s opinion and what relevance does this hold for a site like mine which just provides a forum and poker related news/links/etc…and can this disclaimer stand up in court if some donk decides to bring you to court?

Do I need a disclaimer at the bottom of my site? Do I need a link to Gamblers Anonymous? I notice so many sites have them, I am just curious if 1) it is required in the US, and 2) If anyone has had a lawsuit brought to them or heard of someone who has, because someone followed a link from their site that led them to a gaming room….etc etc…

    Just curious.

You need to check the legal section.

Try a search for casino city – they brought a suit against the government – which is now on hold because all the documents drowned in New Orleans.

No affiliates have been sued so far. It is a grey area, there is no answer to your question.
