Are we stirring trouble??
Anyways, With prior consent from each program there is nothing wrong with that since technically the money is coming from the affiliates pocket... and many programs have safeguarded themselves by implimenting the over time CPA payment depending on the players activity with the casino....
But really Michelle, you of all people asking about CPA abuse??? Wasn't there a handful of affiliate programs investigating....err..uhhh...Or maybe you don't want to get into that right now..... - 10-15-2005 10:59 AM #4Senior Member and Moderator

Since all the listed casinos are Fortune I moved this to the Fortune thread in case they would like to see it.
Gamble Harder, Cali Girl - if you need to discuss something, pm each other. Do not do it here, not in this thread. If you must do it publicly, do it in the free for all section. We have rules about this.dominique

confused
I'm confused how this works for this guy. Doesn't FA require two successful deposits to qualify for the cpa payment? and how would he be able to deposit the money into their casino account, wouldn't he need the account password?

Not an Affiliate
Hi Guys
I have seen this site before.
The important things to note in this case are:
1 - He is not an Affiliate. He is working on some sort of paid campaign with Slickstreet Marketing.
2 - As far as I can tell the money is coming out of his pocket.
3 - It seems that he is trying to get purchasing players by paying them himself with the hope that they will end up eanring him more than his $50 (not sure what the payment model is for this guy).
Either way interesting link.
Fortune Affiliates has no objection to Affiliates paying for players (if you guys want to do it) out of their own pocket.
BUT it needs to be done within certain guidelines.
Clearly paying people to make 2 minimum purchases to take advantage of our CPa and then recovering money from the CPA payment is not the idea.
If you want to pay a player to register with a small bonus (extra $10 or something similar) this can help your acquisitions.
The gamble is that they may not go on to purchase.
Alternatively you can pay people to register and purchase.
The gamble here being they may not make your money back for you.
This works well on a share-based model where immediate payback is not a huge concern.
Thanks.Marc

Marc I find it very strange that this guy, who I know has been known to spam in the past, not sure if that holds true for the dude now ...
but also the major pain in the rear that is out spamming everyone (there is a thread at Meister about him and post here about him), your answer to that was "Slickstreet Marketing" and you do not know blah blah.
I find that really hard to believe that you are not aware of what is going on here! The "Slick" tells it all to me, you folks love the jerks that will do underhanded advertising and spamming so you put them under a special affiliate program of your own creation, no matter what the unethical tatics are used they are bringing you players right? I am not referring to this special deal this guy is doing right now because I don't know what he is up to, but I do know that it is looking real fishy. - 10-17-2005 10:41 AM #9
Not an Affiliate
Hi Bonustreak
This guy is NOT an Affiliate.
Slickstreet marketing is not part of Fortune Affiliates.
This is a separate marketing company that works with Fortune Lounge.
We do not know how this is working as he does not deal with Fortune Affiliates.
In terms of SPAM if you have been spammed and can't unsubscribe then send me details (marck@fortuneaffiliates.com) and I'll take it up with Slickstreet.
Please remember that this guy has nothing to do with Fortune Affiliates.
We do not love underhanded guys and are also not responsible for what other marketing companies do with Fortune Lounge.
Thanks.Marc
