New in this industry
Just started stepping into the world of building gambling sites.
My experience in gambling stuff is 0.0 at the moment.
I have been in the adult industry for some time, and wanted to stop doing that and focus on some other type of sites.
What I noticed is that gambling site tutorials are very hard to find compared to the adult. I checked those under "learning center", but thats also not a lot.
Anyone can give me some links about how to start it right ?
At the moment I am building on http://www.winalot.info -

How do you plan to promote this?
If you want to be listed in the search engines and have people find you, you need to have some original informative quality content.dominique

I am fairly new also and we're currently building a portal. It just amazes me how everyone comes here and says "I'm new, help me.. give me all your secrets".
Do you expect them to build your site for you? The same questions have been asked multiple times, just read all the past threads..
Ok, I have 0.1 experience but I'll help you out because I'm a kind soul.
Make a site people will care about and won't leave after 4 seconds. Then get traffic.
Sums it up well.
Edit : I didn't mean to be obnoxious, but it seems people come here and ask for a recipe. If there was a recipe, everyone would make a million a year. I told you how to do it, and there isn't a lot more to add. If you don't know how to make a site people will care about, then you don't know about gambling in general and selling something you don't know about is always shady. You'll build a site that's just like every other. As for getting traffic.. that's the difference between success and misery, so other than telling you to optimize for search engines, noone will give a detailed guide.Last edited by JackTen; 09-06-2005 at 01:29 PM.
