I’ve been talking with Ryan regarding the affiliate account conversion from ICL to CR. In response to my questions about the mapping of affiliate referrals (2nd tiers), Ryan gave me the following information: If your affiliate referrals with ICL are not your affiliate referrals under CR, you will lose that affiliate referral account. It will be given to the CR affiliate who signed that affiliate under CR. So…. you get Wendy Webmaster to sign up under you for ICL and work with her to get her business going and are finally seeing a small monthly 2% commission BUT Wendy signed up under William Webmaster on CR’s affiliate program. William now gets your ICL affiliate referrals and the monthly commissions (which btw pays 5% with CR)

Other questions: 1) What happens to the affiliate referral if they didn’t join CR under another affiliate (joining straight from a casino webpage)? 2) Is it possible to get a report giving us a breakdown of the number of accounts transferred by casino so a comparison can be made? I’d like to make sure I have the same number in CR that I had in ICL.

Thanks Ryan for taking time to answer my earlier questions especially during the conversion process and knowing I wasn’t going to like some of the answers I got :exclamati

    Hi All,

What Siouxzee says above is true – I mentioned it in the ‘integrity takeover’ email I sent out. I wish there was a way for everybody to win, but this case isn’t all negative – some will win, and some will not.

Obviously, the big plus is that the casinos are not going under and will be around for you to continue making money from the players you sent! Moreover, you will making more from those players with us than you were before. What I mean by this, is that our pay structure pays more to affiliates than theirs did. We do a flat 35%, and do not take out royalties or admin! Wooo Hooo

I object. You do not have any right to affect my earnings by giving or taking away affiliates which are signed up under me for that program. Either find a way to map it correctly, or else keep separate stats until such time as you can map the affiliates over in a fair manner.

I’m also dissapointed in this. I have some pretty heavy affiliates underneath me at integrity. These are 4 and 5 figure affiliates like the casino prophet.

I’m also wondering why the conversion has gone down so much? I used to see a real player with every 20 hits and now that has dropped dramatically.

Funnily enough, I had you in mind when I saw this, as though I also have quite a number of affiliates under my name, I also signed up under you – but don’t think I signed up under you at Casino Rewards.

To be blunt – this is not acceptable. Forget disappointment, that’s a huge understatement.

This is dissapointing in more ways than one. But I will give casino rewards credit for boosting the commission to 35%.

Ryan I know it’s tough to straighten out this subaffiliate mess, but I really believe that if you could do it fairly, that it would be best for everyone.

    First of all,
Some affiliates have got this confused that we are allocating players to other affiliates who referred those players to CR in the first place. This is not the case. All players are mapped directly over to corresponding affiliates…period.

    Second,
If the affiliate you referred to ICL does not have a referrer on our end, I have no issue setting you as the referrer. So email me directly if this could potentially apply to you, and I will deal with it on a case by case basis.

Next, I am always open to your ideas and suggestions. So, if you have a suggestion on how it could be handled post it here. Unfortunately, it’s not an easy situation as there are many many variables to consider.

To those that feel we do not have the right to handle this as we see fit:
I appreciate all the hours that go into being an affiliate, and the hard work you did to attract your subaffiliates. HOWEVER, you need to keep things in perspective. A couple of months ago these casinos were going under and you had no chance of being paid for the players you had referred, let alone the 2% sub affiliate referrals. We acquired the group, including those liabilities and quickly paid out all outstanding amounts to affiliates and players. Now on top of that, we are doing everything possible to ensure things are mapped over smoothly, allocating subaffiliates where possible and evening shifting you all over to a more profitable payment model so you are making more from the work you did previously.

So, having said all that, I still invite you to email me directly if you have what you feel is a special case that I should look at. If there is a way to make it work fairly, then I will!

This is not correct. The owner simply got fed up with the hassle.

There is one way to make this work fairly – do NOT map the affiliates – simply maintain the old program, just make all future players come through the new links.

This way, all affiliates who signed up sub tiers continue to get credited properly. And all new player signups will obviously go through the CR system and thus not affect the old system.

If you have a question about this, feel free to email me. I am no longer going to pursue this publicly – I see a breach of contract and I expect it to be rectified.

I will grant the fact that the new model is more profitable than the old one – so this would positively affect my results – but for earnings over 30K – ie the big boys – it is no more profitable than the old one, and for some of these affiliates the change is going to result in a significant swing in their numbers because you have not correctly mapped the affiliates over.

The owner got fed up paying affiliates for their work and locked all player accounts and did not allow cashouts??

Ryan, don’t tell me I’m wrong, because I’m not. Address the issue of being fair to affiliates instead.

ok now I was a bit ticked off too at first with the crap of making 6 cents for may, that was a joke but then I realized it had to be on Integrity’s fault, when your broke you can’t pay jerks any hoot.. I am willing to give this a shot since my stats are already going up from the merge.

All this other stuff I think needs to be re-thought with the sub affiliates for sure I agree with Spear.

    bump…

Ryan, are you going to tell us how you plan to resolve this situation?

    Spearmaster,

I find it interesting that you think anybody on the planet would believe somebody just got fedup making millions of dollars and that’s the reason integrity sold. I also find it interesting that you feel confident that you know what happened over somebody who is a manager at the company that purchased them.

    Hi all,

To reiterate the workings of sub affiliate mapping:

We remapped the sub affiliates where we were able but if the affiliate was linked to another affiliate on our side we could not take that sub affiliate away from them. The migration was into our program therefore any conflicts were settled by using our data, this was the only way we could migrate the database and offer the players a smooth transition.

Remember, the casino is not pocketing the difference here. We are allocating sub affiliate credit at every available opportunity. So, we actually have more sub affiliate accounts now (absolute, relatively and proportionately – which means less profit to the casino) than we did before.

Also, please keep in mind that the new commission structure for RevShare on your actual players should put more overall dollars in your pocket every month.

Finally, as always, email me if you feel you have a special situation. I am totally open to looking at any situation on a case by case basis.
