The shake up in the Aussie gaming market is interesting. It reminds me of the shake up in the US post Black Friday. I’ve talked to some affiliates who have already wiped their hands of the country. I have talked to other affiliates who are just changing their offers up and giving it a go.

Do you think there are any possible legal issues with being an affiliate to Australian players? Are you exiting the market are doubling down?

Unfortunately I don’t see any way I can stay in this market.

I will be focusing on other English markets.

If you want to earn money from casinos in Australia, you have to pay what’s known as the Crown Tax, or more informally, government protection.

This is the norm, or at least rapidly becoming the norm, world wide.
Governments want their pound of flesh, aka tax money, and nothing will stop them from getting it.
