There is a new US-friendly online poker site called “Jao Poker” that is making its way around the Internet. Mostly via spamming poker forums and social media (facebook in particular). They appear to be a multi-level marketing scheme wrapped up in a poker room. I personally recommend that all affiliates at CAP avoid doing business with them.

Here’s an article about Jao Poker’s shady business practices.

    Yowza!

I checked their alexa rank, it is a little over 1 million. Their web site looks nice, w/ a responsive mobile design.

Maybe they need to be more professional, when it comes to marketing. The marketing department could be a third party. Who knows?

However, there is no excuse for using spam to promote. I agree with that.

    “It’s okay I understand. This ain’t no never-never land.”

Looks like the entire operation may have been funded with illegal monies to begin with.

Unfortunately, that is what you will find with the Jao Poker Network model. Not only are the principals and owners like Tam Nguyen doing so, but they are encouraging those in their downline to do so as well. In fact, the multi-level marketing approach they use virtually guarantees spam. All these newbie “IBOs” aka, affiliates have no clue how to properly market. Many of them get banned from social media groups and online forums. Here’s an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/6ngr5y/is_anyone_else_getting_spam_pms_from_utythefly/
