Important- Affiliate? Using Copied Content With Redirect - Page 3

I dont know, Dom. I have wrote Yahoo quite a few times, with exact URLs of their websites where my content and redirects appear - I did not even got a canned responce...Damn, if you type my site's name in the search - it's their website you get...

I mean, even their home pages are nothing but hidden text! I got so dissapointed by Yahoo because of this - I banned the Slurp from visiting my site (not that Slurps cares - it still eats my website like it's the only one in the world)!

Slightly off topic - I have one thing to say to Yahoo and Google -

And Capitan - those websites are owned by the aff program, and after my last post about that aff program - to cover their tracks they did that cross-traffic, media-selling thing with the other one. Pretty lame, but it was enough for me to be 100% sure that I was right.

OK, I will post just a few, to get a taste of whats goiing on.
Keep in mind that these pages are old, old, and I dont think I link to them from my current website, even the banners dont work - they just sit there on the server - never got around of taking them down after I bought the website - pretty useless content, but I think the website got banned from Yahoo because of this.

After you click on the link - wait 3-4 seconds and you will be redirected to the website...

and there are many more... I advise everybody just to go on Yahoo and do a search for their own domain name (without the www and the com), and look to see if their pages arent hi-jacked either. If they are - 99% a ban is comming to your town

Like I said earlier in this post.

There is a stick post here on CAP: "The Role of an Affiliate Manager". I think it lacks one more thing. An affiliate manager should be aware and know where and how their casinos are being promoted. As promoting casinos on a page that tries to steal the work of months or even year of another person is not a good business practice, I think affiliate managers should concern about the issue and take some measures. If I'm an affiliate manager, I would not allow, under any circunstances, my casinos being promoted on such a scam. Achieving a good reputation is not easy and should not be destroyed in this way.

Hi,

I got news for everyone. Its likely that ALL of your sites have had the content duplicated.

I hope Krystall will chime in here; she can explain what I'm talking about better than anybody.

But I can tell you which aff program is guilty of allowing it to happen, and will, but not before I go check my sources to make sure I've the right name because sometimes i get the names mixed up since everything starts with casino, vegas, or gambling.

I try and continue this later tonight.

Damn, everyone of these has an "in box" window that spawns pop unders and if you try to close it it spawns more and more and more...

I HATE this **** and the only way I know to get rid of it is shut the computer down and I am in the middle of several projects I am working on at the same time - DAMN!!!!!!

You can open the Task Manager, and close them from Applications...every now and then this will close the rest of the browsers (rarely), but at least if you run applications, they will be fine...
