If you play the slots your answer is going to be a resounding “yes!” If you are a Poker pro and well versed in the ways of gambling online, at tournaments, or at your friends house you may be saying “no way!”

As someone who enjoys playing tables games as much as slot machines, I find myself always very happy when I can get in a few hours of entertainment and walk away with the same amount of money i had to begin with. I am even happier when it buys me a coffee for the way home.

I am proud to say that I’m An Unconventional Gambler Who Mostly Breaks Even

I’d much rather win, but breaking even is ok as long as it was an exciting game.

I don’t gamble but I guess if you are having a good time and not just doing it for the money breaking even is good.

Never gambled but I wouldn’t be happy unless I come out ahead.

It’s interesting because I have the same philosophy. Over the years, I have learned that if I break even after several hours of play, it’s awesome. I view gambling as entertainment and whichever amount of money I’ve gambled with, was the price I paid for the entertainment for the evening. Of course, winning would be great too. :D

Breaking even is always nice, and works for me too! I play poker as well as slots and if I’m grinding it out at a poker table for 5-6hrs of course I’d like to leave ahead..But, if I can sit and play slots for 5-6hrs and leave at least even then I’d say luck was on my side that day, lol!

A couple of nights ago my wife and I went to our local casino and we lost $75 after playing slots for a few hours and having a lot of fun. I am considering that a win also since I was $200 down at one point.

Interesting topic, for me betting on sports makes any event massively more interesting from a spectator perspective and whether that bet wins or loses you’ve already enhanced the experience. Longer term at least breaking even has to be the target although it can be a bumpy ride :)

Gambling should all be about fun! However, if you do win, then, well, I guess the more fun!

Any other option different than winning is fail for me, I just can’t stand it if I play for like 5 hrs and at the end I got crap :-( like break even.
