    Hi,
I’m a newbie in this area. Is there a recommended book or something that I should read?
The trasition from a player to an affilaite is nice… I hope my site on-line-poker.net will become better…
    Thanks!

You can do what I am doing.. I have joined three affiliate communities so far and have been reading a lot from each. Each one seems to offer very different qualities.

Here, AffiliateGuardDog.com and GPWA.org are the three I have found so far.

Reading is good habit to have if you want to learn.

I agree, I have been spending a good percentage of my “working time” reading an insane amount of posts that date back over the past few years. I have find some really interesting conversations that really make me excited to be involved!

    Hi greenO,
Great to see you on this fine forum.
I am not into poker, however wish you good luck with your site.
Do not read so extensive, please.
Too much of information on your hard drive (mean brain) is not healthy. :laughcry:
Today, I am heading for few beers evening, to relax my brain.
    Have a nice day! :)

    Hey Green0

I’m always late to welcome newbies…:rollover:

But again you’ve gotten great advice, xmikeross gave you the top 3 forums on the NET, so yeah it’s a good idea to join all and take some time to get acquainted with each.

These forums are full of useful information and also friendly industry pros, so anytime you can’t find an answer to your question then post it on the forum and let us answer it for you.

    Welcome and Enjoy.

There are good webinars around that can give you some great basic strategies for increasing traffic, SEO optimization, etc…Google is the way, but I’ll try and find some links and post them if I do.

    p.s. Beers sound great….I second that notion…

I would suggest you get rid of that domain and redirect to a nice brandable one, preferably with .com

Your domain doesn’t really help seo wise and I doubt you are hoping to actually rank for ”online poker”, which is probably among the most saturated, competitive keywords to go for. on-line-poker.net is also not easy to remember and isn’t catchy, so there’s really no reason to keep making a nice quality site on a domain like that.
