Hello everyone,
Brand new to the forum. Site is under construction, hoping to jump in first of the year. Wanted to say thanks for this great site… it really helps newbies like me get a feel for this business. I am looking forward to contributing in the near future. I can’t wait for you all to review my site . Can’t think of more valuable feedback than from you all.
First question. Is it looked down upon to have the site whois privatized by a domains by proxy? Does it give it any more of an unprofessional feel to not have the owners name or business registered in whois?
Thanks,

When it comes to whois info there is no correct answer. Personally I have done both.
The plus side of listing your information is it sends a positive message that you are not hiding. It also allows people to contact you that are interested in doing business or advertising on your site(s)
The down side is you will increase the number of sales inquiries you receive and in some cases can open yourself to cyber stalking if you run across a nut online.
My two cents

No wonder you like it here!
CAP is short for CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com
Your name would indicate a great fit!
Welcome aboard, and good luck!

Feeling like I am drinking from a firehose at the moment gathering all the info. Helps that i am a computer geek with web experience already and, lets just say, i enjoy the casino industry . The name capman comes from the fact my site will be centered around sports with the emphasis on sports handiCAPping. I am sure I will have more questions soon enough.
till then…
