Hi,

I am a newbie and I am wondering if it is still worth it to start a new casino affiliate website.

We started our site in 2015 and we can tell you it is definately worth it… IF you are prepared to put in the hard work. Spammy sites offering nothing might score for a month or two before dying. If you can offer something different and useful then you should be fine. If you find an untapped niche then again you could score.

You could start with more targeted sites, like 3d casinos poker mobile casinos and poker or if you live in another country you could do it local.

yes, for sure! As long as you have the patients to put in a lot of hours and money for at least 6 months before you see a return then go for it. Don’t give up your day job for at least a year though. It took me over a year before I saw money flowing in <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

No. Don’t do it, if you life in the US. Living in the UK would be good. I don’t know about the laws in most other countries. It’s just the moral issues that you should look at.

I was a big poker affiliate back in the day, been working with operators and platform providers over the last 5 years. And based on the various work I’ve down affiliate traffic accounts for a big portion of operator revenues.

You need to work hard and build a brand and a reputation and focus on what is current.

I’ve just launched a new slots site so let’s see what happens

Every business has a cycle and casino business for affiliates is over.

I don’t agree with this comment. I have been an Affiliate since 1999 and whilst I totally agree that it was much easier to make money back in the day, as long as there is still online casinos out there, then there is still money to be made for Affiliates.

You simply have to work a lot harder and ensure you deal with Reputable Operators.
Hard work always pays off in the end – no matter what industry you are in.

I think you need something a bit different to make it work nowadays, (yet) another casino review site is unlikely to get much cut-through unless you can bring something unique or very good to the party. Focus on social & mobile are key areas too IMO.
