avoid referback
experience with Referback - Affiliate ID: aff113698
how many you you guys knew that if you don't send new ND for 3 months, you will not get paid old months commissions? just want to make sure if affs actually know the terms and conditions which come out at times like a surprise on old accounts, when you see some commissions coming in it.
I am not offending but want to know how many affiliates partners from referback know this applies, or i was the only one who got the surprise, because i promoted this account in 2010 and delivered good players and i was making still like 50-60 usd referral commission @ 20% referal commission and was given excuse that since i m not getting any new business so i will not be paid.
I have requested my account closure with them .. they were happy because they don't have to pay me anything now. but is this ethical? i don't have things like this with other brands, but referback has not been the one which i will suggest.
They don't have a lifetime rev share, so make sure you don't get into their trap of fooling affiliates.Last edited by jameskon; 10-22-2013 at 06:09 AM. Reason: wanted to add my aff id

"if you don't send new ND for 3 months, you will not get paid old months commissions" - What a load of bull craphola. It's time affiliates get protected against this type of behavior.
My advise? Dump 'em. And, let your visitors know not to visit their casinos. For all I care: Let the world know, just as that you did here.
Personally, I am fed up with these aff programs. Without affiliates, there would be no them.
Ladies and gents aff programs people: Please, when do you start realizing this?? -

they don't care about affiliate spending money for their promotions, once they accquire players they just get rude. I started working with them since wayne human (one of my friends) was there, and since he shifted to redreturns, things have been shady.
they have their own defination of rev share, which sucks
first they dropped rev share from 40% to 20% due to less deposits, and now they stopped payments with this reason, NO ND in last 3 months. -

This is why we don't do any bizniz with referback. Give 'em the boot.
Did they owe you much?
Hold on a minute, based on those rules, if a new affiliate doesn't make a ND in the first 3 months, they can refrain from ever paying him out. That is sick.
Pretty girls as aff managers or not, their casinos are not on my sites. -

this is not for NEW Aff, because new aff do Biz, my account is 2010 old account, when i was new they use to pay me. Now i am old.
i am makign 50-60 usd per month still @ 20% rev share deal, i think last payout which was declined was like 120 usd, but it's not about money, its about cheating affiliates. -

Re. Inactive Clause
Hi all,
Clause 6.5. in our terms and conditions reads as follows:
Referback will only make payments to active generating affiliates; an active affiliate account is defined as an account which has generated a minimum of 1 new depositing player within a period of three consecutive months. If an account does not meet these requirements, at the sole discretion of Referback management, future commission payments may be withheld.
http://www.referback.com/legal/terms-and-conditions
In reply to the statement: "if you don't send new ND for 3 months, you will not get paid old months commissions" this is not the case. Any backdated commissions are paid upon the account going active again.
In reply to the statement: “Hold on a minute, based on those rules, if a new affiliate doesn't make a ND in the first 3 months, they can refrain from ever paying him out." This is also not the case. The 3 months only applies to the last 3 months, it does not apply to any 3 month periods prior to this where no actives were generated. The moment an active is generated, the account is removed from the inactive status (should it have been inactive) and any backdated commission is paid with the next payment run.

I am was not generating new players, but i have 3 Active Players depositing money.
Now i spend money to get these players to you, and when they start wagring i got this **** back.
Reason was posting to make people know you got this odd rule in your terms and condition, one of those small astrick which people notice when they get shocks. On my personal opinon i would say if i have 3 active depositors / wagring and making money for you, why are you so greedy not to pay affiilates, also this is an rev share deal and not a CPA deal where you can say you spend money towards player acqusition. i spent money, got the players in and then when they start wagring.. i get crap.
i will rate referback at big zero. -

Andrew - i have already requested account closure and same was done earlier today. Reason, i don't want to work with you anymore. I need a reliable network which pays you every penny you deserve.
Here is the list we work with others and they have never been any issues
1. Affactive
2. Redreturns
3. Wingate affiliates - now bought by fortune affiliates
4. Gwages
5. revenuejet
and some others..

you should know we were doing email promotions -- so you should try and talk to affs and understand how the promotions are being done and help them, rather than making statements without knowing how things are being done.
