If your site is a top-earner don’t sell that’s my advice to you. Rather get someone to manage it for you. Life has become exceedingly difficult. You might have loads of cash today but you never know what tomorrow might bring.

I can’t speak for Dom but while most of us who commenced in this game early, have been blessed. We’ve also put in literally 10’s of thousands of hours work over the years. When I started (39) I could throw up 2 sites in a week and not break a sweat.
However I turn 52 in July. While I’m certainly not over the hill, the drive to do what I once took in my stride is fading. I want to enjoy life and not be tied down to this industry, which is basically the status qou now.
Maybe Dom has similar feelings, again only Dom can answer that.
Thanks for the advice! But, since my husband passed away I just haven’t been able to get back into the swing of this. I want to work in my garden and just enjoy what I have built up in all these years.
I have poured countless hours into that site, for years I worked in excess of 10 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s just time to step back and pursue other interests. I have been living on the computer pretty much, and that was fine, but now it’s time I venture back into the real world.
As far as hiring someone to run things – I guess I am too involved. I keep worrying and interfering. I think I need a clean cut this time.
I actually sold once before, and bought it back. This time though, the sale will be final.
Since some of you asked – it can be sold with accounts for the full 2 year’s income price, or it can be sold without accounts at a discount. So if you’d rather use it for your own favorites, that will be fine. I will also throw in some old but untended sites.
So satisfied u are after getting a Good earning “One day comes when a person thinks now is the time which i have to enjoy due to my past efforts”

Whatever happens, I hope it all works out for you. Things “aint” eazy for us as time goes on. What was once fun and a challenge can get old and unfulfilling. I think maybe the drastic changes in our industry add some to the pressure.
In any case, you are certainly a force not only for CAP and its members but also for all affiliates.

I envy that garden.. I saw pics of the garden as it was coming along. When Dom does something, she doesn’t do it half assed.
I’m hoping you’ll come to one of the US conferences, I’m sure you’ve got an open invitation to every event out there.

Guys, I have a number of requests for info. I have decided to wait til September to sell, so I am still accepting requests for info.
The site just did a very nice jump upwards in google and I am waiting to see where it will settle.
Thanks for all the comments and PMs. I am doing fine, summer is my favorite season and I am spending much of my time outside.
Probably I worked too hard for too many years, I am just totally enjoying my new found freedom.
I’ll still be around, I might develop one of my message boards, nice and slow and with work performed mostly in winter, when there is not much to do for me outside.
Thanks again for the interest, I haven’t forgotten. And I am still selling. Just got caught up in the google thing again, lol.

Dom I totally understand what you mean about going outside again, i bet the world is a different place when you are not tied to the computer and the gaming world.
I applaud you in making the move, i am sure you will find something just as exciting and refreshing to delve into, smart of you to act when you know the time for change has arrived.
