Hi there
I am wondering if adword campaigns are profitable in the long run for casino keywords. Prices tend to be quite high, so I doubt it. But maybe for the long run, you do get some traffic, returning visitors, higher PR, so there are some indirect factors involved.
Did anyone ever set up a campaign, and what was your experience with it?
Hope to hear from you.
Paul
July 19, 2012 at 9:39 am #826483misswiggMemberThere is definitely still money to be made… I did some for a while but my heart wasn’t really in it, I didn’t make much of an effort, was just dabbling so was only breaking even. With a lot of proper planning, keyword research and decent landing pages you could still be successful

Just wanted to bump up this question… Top Casino, great one to ask. I know there are still affiliates out there that are performing well through Adwords and/or PPC. Would love to hear some feedback… without revealing all that’s in the magic formula, what’s working & what’s not???
August 12, 2012 at 10:23 am #827097TESTjohnTESTMemberanother bump maybe?
My question is not which strategy to use while using adwords, or which phrases you are aiming for.
Just if there are people who have used it succesfully, and maybe some general experiences with it.August 12, 2012 at 6:15 pm #827104AnonymousInactivei think adwords with gambling keywords is only allowed in England.
If you set up a campaign it will be disallowed imidiate.
Sometimes you’r lucky and the campaign will slip through (e.g. if you use tyos like casnio), but then after a week, it still will be stopped.
You get a warning, and after another attempt your account and cc wil be blocked,
so you have to get another cc etc etc
a pain ita is my experience.some seem to manage to go through all the hassle though…

August 13, 2012 at 2:13 pm #827116TESTjohnTESTMemberah, didnt know that elgoog, thanks
dont have uk domains (yet) so no need to get into troubleAugust 13, 2012 at 8:41 pm #827122computer repair kitMemberis there really no other countries apart from the UK where you can run adwords campaigns?…..seems weird
August 13, 2012 at 9:19 pm #827124misswiggMemberYou don’t need a UK domain to get approved for UK adwords
August 14, 2012 at 9:06 am #827141computer repair kitMemberok, but it is just UK Google where you can advertise?
August 14, 2012 at 2:26 pm #827156angelinereimer0801MemberI run a bunch of UK facing mobile ads on adwords for several years now and I’m still very satisfied with the results. Best part is that cpc is much lower for mobile than online
August 14, 2012 at 3:16 pm #827157computer repair kitMemberthats interesting, does the player value/CPC rates vary massively from online then?
August 14, 2012 at 4:35 pm #827163angelinereimer0801MemberFor major keywords like casino or blackjack the average cpc for mobile is between $0.50 and $1.50. Depending on the quality of the landingpage. For online the costs are significant higher (easily $5.00 cpc).
Also to consider is AdCenter from Microsoft. They offer similar search campaigns on both Bing and Yahoo. Best of all is that they allow you to advertise worldwide, ex. the US and Canada though.
I think the main advantage of sem campaigns is that people are looking for you, instead of you looking for them.
