    Default Rewards Stealing Players ?

I see a strange phenomenon at rewards affiliates this month :

    month December
    1640+ clicks
    330 downloads
    46 regs
    13 new players
    1 new depositor ??

I have sent traffic from various sites. All other microgaming programs have more new depositors this month.

Looks like they have hammered my account for revealing the truth about Rewards Affiliates Stealing Players with cross promotion ; exploiting unethical business tactics

I guess that is why big affiliates just keep their mouth shut.

Just found this post on AGD really tells a lot about thse guys.

Oh They want affiliates... They just want them uninformed and ignorant about how this business really works.

It is not news that the guys running Rewards Affiliates are happy to screw affiliates at every chance they get. They have happily been screwing affiliates for years and years, imo... Way before Renee stared working for them.

Actually, if memory serves, Renee was hired to help smooth over and cool off affiliates after the Rewards Management changed the way they figured commissions, so they could pocket more and give the affiliates less. That was when I dropped them, because the change they made way back then to the commission structure would only be made by crooks, imo.

PS : I will be removing RA brands asap.

I recall when they did that, and it worked out much to my advantage, since I have mostly slot players. People who have for instance mostly Blackjack players - it wasn't to their advantage.

What Rewards did back then is switch to the same accounting methods that brick and mortar casinos use. Whether the player wins or loses is irrelevant, so whatever you see is what you get, there are no winnings to subtract. The accounting only counts how much is played... They also didn't make this change forced, you had the option to stay on the old method.

That said, yes, they do send out mails with bonuses to players, and on the bottom of the mail they have CLICKABLE links to all their other casinos.

IMO that is not fair, they are openly luring players away from existing affiliate accounts. That is the beef I have with them.

In some 10 years or more of promoting them, I have never found any accounting irregularities though, and they convert well. So personally I decided to keep them on, albeit with lower exposure.

I wish they would make these images in their bonus letters NOT clickable. If they did that, I would recommend them without hesitation. As is, I don't.

Well, I found none. I ran a couple of tests over the years and they came out clean.

Thanks Dom for sharing, do you think it is possibly RA are having a grudge against me - and consequently strip my earnings/players for exposing RA?

BTW : those emails are sent almost every week, with 30+ casinos it is easy for a player to make a switch and this is what Rewards is hoping for, as the chance that player has not yet been referred - to this "new" (other) brand - is very high. Suddenly RA does not have to pay commissions for this player to you the affiliate = 100% profit for them, source : free affiliate traffic.

    Well, anything is possible, lol.

But they should have a grudge against me because I yelled loudly on several forums about their stupid emails to players.

I haven't seen anything to indicate they had a grudge against me.

I don't know if they have one against you - I am just returning after two years of not visiting forums... or, hardly ever visiting them is probably more correct. So I am not up to date and only talking about personal experience here.

I don't recall ever showing you my tests, so your memory must be faulty if you remember something different.

Or maybe mine is faulty and I did show you my tests, but I don't think so.

Dom it is just very odd when analyzing current december stats that new depositing players are simply not showing (except for 1) which is the lowest number since the very month I started promoting them.

Also other good players do not show up that often anymore or just do not play that hard.

Well actually you were one of several who ran test for me years ago. Maybe you don't recall, but I do - your transactions did NOT fully track properly. I'm certain my memory isn't that bad, but in fact is spot on, but I'm not here to argue about what happened years ago.
